Henry was raised to follow his fathers footsteps as a butler for the british nobility. Unfortunatly for him, his employer died while on a trip to the United States of influenza, leaving Waters stranded in a foreign country without the means to return to England. He began to search for a job to finance his return, eventually stranding by a strange gentleman who offered him eternity in exchange for service to him. Fascinated by the idea, Waters agreed, joining the ranks of the undead.
