NRCS Cadence was a New Republic Carrack-class Light Cruiser serving with the Republic's Second Fleet. She was one of three Republic Carrack cruisers destroyed during the final battle of Operation Shado Kolpo. An all-out Imperial assault hit Cadence from behind as she maneuvered in to defend supply freighters bound for Coruscant. Cadence was crippled by the assault and the crew was forced to abandon ship.
