Schwartz and Egger are two demons that oversee immigration into Demon World. The pair stand by the dimension portal leading to the underwater jungle in Monster World and ensure nobody enters their world without the correct papers (in triplicate). Upon discovering that Shion was attempting to get past them without any paperwork, they tried to "fill him in" but were stopped by a simple spell of thunder magic, knocking them out. They later woke up and returned to their job, where they would attempt to stop Shion and other villagers returning to Monster World. After seeing that their previous tormentor had brought powerful company, the two relented and even dropped the prisoners off outside their homes.
