Shulk holds the Monado overhead; it glows with light and then transforms into the True Monado. The energy blade increases in length and a Japanese character glows gold on the hilt of the sword. Shulk then slams the sword downwards, cutting through any enemies hit by the blade, until it finally impacts with the ground, after which the Monado returns to its first form.
