The Whitestone Hotel is a hotel that has a working relationship with the Daughters and Sisters shelter, since Leonard Stevenson, who founded the shelter, sits on the Hotel's board of directors. Rose McClendon worked at the Hotel, along with Pamela Haverford, in the Spring of 1994 after leaving her husband; her husband later stayed at the Hotel in the process of trying to find her.
