Anarmar was one of the planets in the Senb'An'Tiin region and the capital of the state union with the same name in the waning days of the Old Republic. For many it was known as a financial and commercial center of the boundaries of the Unknown Regions, as well as a tropical resort. Through years Anarmar changed a lot, being a colony with a population up to 500 inhabitants in 4000 BBY, and a center of the Confederacy for several centuries before 21 BBY and one of the Galactic Empire's cities before it was finally liberated after the Battle for Endor.
