Anna Maria Stracuzza was born in Italy to a relatively wealthy family. She attended design school and became a fashion designer in the 1970s. In 1976 she married her first husband, Luigi Carmensa. She and Luigi had no kids and divorced in 1977. She met British industrial magnate Roger Gallet and they were married in 1978. Gallet went broke in 1980 and she divorced him that year. She became romantically involved with Lovian actor Simon McCann and had an on/off relationship until 1982. They were separated and she soon was linked to Lovian-Italian count Fabrizio Condottori. They were married late in 1982 and they had their first child in 1983, Fabio Condottori. In 1985 she had a second son, Andrea Condottori and a daughter in 1988, Melania Condottori.
