This version of Oroku Karai is one of the members of the modern-day Foot Clan in the IDW comics. She is the daughter of Oroku Yori and a direct descendant of Oroku Saki (the Shredder) about three hundred years after his supposed death in feudal Japan; she is responsible for rebuilding the Foot Clan in modern times and resurrecting The Shredder.
