Iaam Sylgrid was a Male Sullustan who held the rank of Colonel within the Galactic Alliance. Iaam grew up in a poor family living in the slums of Sullusta City and at the age of sixteen he joined a local gang. Sylgrid was the more merciful member of his gang and often disobeyed orders. Iaam and his gang was dissoluted when one of the members was found out to be wearing a wire. Sylgrid was imprisoned for five years and when he was released he used the last of his money to hop on a shuttle offworld. Sylgrid went to Coruscant and asked General Grelgho if he would he could join the Galactic Alliance Military.
