Rothes was the name of a Sith dynasty composed of humans which was native to Scotland and came to rule over its Sith community. A member of the family came to hold the position of Sith Overlord. By the late years of the 20th century, the family was divided due to the conflict between Malcolm Rothes and his wife Cordelia, who fought to win control over the Sith which inhabited Scotland.
