(UNDER CONSTRUCTION) The National Space Defense Force, or NSDF, is the branch of the US military charged with defending the United States from space-borne threats. The NSDF was formed by order of President Kennedy after the Human-Sen'kaal War of 1957 as a means of creating an agency solely devoted to space warfare (The USAF handled space warfare research from 1957 to 1962.)
