The Battle of Cerro Cora was a battle fought on March 1, 1870 at the hill of Cerro Corá, a ridge north of Paraguay. This battle was the last battle of the War of the Triple Alliance (1864-1870), faced off on one side, 4,500 Allied soldiers and the other, only 250 remaining Paraguayans.
