Denevski Steading was a Grayson steading, or feudal province. It was one of the first twenty-four steadings founded. In 1057 PD (3160 CE in the Gregorian Calendar used on Grayson) the Conclave of Steadholders accepted the eldest illegitimate son of a Steadholder Denevski as heir to the Steadholdership, given the absence of any legitimate male children. A class of superdreadnoughts of the Grayson Space Navy was named after a Steadholder Denevski. (HH11)
