The Asjaka-class Bomber was a 3-seated bomber used by the Kilrathi. In preparations of the McAuliffe Ambush, it was used to test an experimental shield-penetrating torpedo. The test was made against an old Butha-class cruiser whose phase shielding was successfully penetrated by the torpedo before detonating, destroying the target. The results were shown to the 8 clan leaders and fleet commanders.
