The Siege of Greedin was a battle that took place on the New Republic-controlled planet of Greedin, and was the first major conflict of the Jedi Wars. The Sith fleet was led by Commander Lurall Virceii, an experienced Sith commander, and the frigates in Greedin space were immediately besieged upon the Sith arrival. The New Republic armada moved to repel the attack, and a space battle ensued, before the Sith pushed the Republic onto the planet's service.
