Annie Raitt (born 1941 in Edinburgh) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between May 1992 and August 2000 as Doreen Horton, mother of Lisa and grandmother of Tommy Duckworth. She trained at the Edinburgh College of Speech & Drama (LRAM) and on-screen her credits include roles in Dr. Finlay's Casebook, Armchair Thriller, Second City Firsts, The Stars Look Down, All Creatures Great and Small, First of the Summer Wine, The Bill, Dangerfield, Peak Practice, Casualty and Taggart.
