Special Stage Route 7 (or SS7) is a fictional circuit featuring in Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6. It is a 14 mile long, ultra high-speed street circuit set on a Japanese-styled motorway. It appears to be greatly based on the Tokyo-Yokohama Highway route due to its long carpool tunnel, long straights, and tight twisty off ramps. SS7 also boasts a carbon copy of the Yokohama Bay Bridge as well as the Haneda Airport (Aqualine) tunnel. The circuit consists of two 6 mile straights, running down opposite carriageways of the same motorway, connected by two hairpin corners on each end of long straightaways. It is one of the longest racing tracks in the series, and ultimately replacing Gran Turismo's Test Course, making it ideal for high-powered vehicles that can possibly go well over 300 km/h.
