The NovaCORE kelerium processing plant was a kelerium refinery operating for centuries in The Works industrial district on Coruscant. During the Galactic Civil War, the plant was nearly 100% automated with only three Mustafarians as employees. Kaa'to Leeachos, a Kadas'sa'Nikto bounty hunter, took shelter in the plant after he betrayed the Pyke Syndicate, a powerful underworld syndicate, who subsequently dispatched a group of agents to apprehend the Nikto.
