Sam is a strict worshipper of Saradomin. However, he has misinterpreted the teachings of Saradomin, which often dictate that humans are his chosen race. Sam has taken this to mean that all other races should be destroyed, and through H.A.M. Sam hopes to achieve this goal. Sam was killed in the Assault on Sigmund's Base, whether by goblin soldiers or in the ensuing cave-in.
