De La Ray(VCDM052) was born in the Commandos on October 24, 2008. His mother was Zorilla and his father was Miles. His litter-mates were Lafienia(VDCF049) and his brothers Stanley(VCDM050) and Michiel(VCDM051). With the same month that the pups were born, two other females were pregnant but did not try to kill the new litter. Also one of the Whisker males named Karim died. De Lay Ray was born in Zorilla's last litter. The four pups survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. Sadly three months after the pups were born their mother Zorilla died of disease along with Miles and De Lay Ray's older half brother Cody. The last Whisker male named Panthro became the dominant male and De Lay Ray's older half sister Celidh became the new dominant female. Sadly the Commandos
