Mrs Myfanwy Griffith (née Bevan) (born 1896) was a Labour Party councillor in the Paddington area. Born in Tredegar in Monmouthshire she was the daughter of David Bevan, a coalminer and his wife Phoebe née Protheroe, a seamstress. She was the older sister of Aneurin Bevan (1897-1960), leading Labour politician who steered the legislation creating the National Health Service through parliament. She married William Griffith in Beddwellty in South Wales in 1923. After living in Liverpool, by 1946 the family had moved to the Maida Vale area of Paddington.
