He initially adopted the persona in the 2010 Christmas event to try and spread Christmas cheer to the Fremennik of Daemonheim. According to Thorvar, Thok did not dispute him being a Fremennik, claiming he was obviously a Fremennik as "he climbs through chimneys and into fireplaces, he is almost as strong as me". During the 2016 Christmas event, Thorvar reprised the same role he played in the 2010 Christmas event. His scene can be played after completion of the 2007 event.
