Borax powder is generally ineffective against mites. While dissolved in water borax acts as a slow poison which is useful for killing mites in clothes. You will need: * A bucket or plasic bag big enough to hold the clothes and water to cover the top of the clothes * half a cup to 2 cups of borax * Cold or warm water * At least 8 hours 1. * Put the borax in the plastic bag or plastic box 2. * Put the clothes in the plastic bag or plastic box 3. * Fill the bag / box with enough cold or warm water to cover the clothes 4. * Swirl the clothes around making sure that the borax dissolves into the water and gets into the clothes 5. * Put the lid on the box tightly or tie the bag at the top after squeezing the air out 6. * Leave for at least 8 hours, pre
