From the frozen fjords of Norway we came. In Hauteville-la-Guichard we arrived. From there comes our name. After that much we gained. With the grace of God the blessed island we freed. From the heathens we learned. But we still didn't fufill our need. To conquer the holy lands without greed. And so another blessing from god we earned. Long live our rule,just and merciful.
