Armored Cannon Beetle Larva is an enemy in the Pikmin series. This monster can bury itself in the floor, and when Olimar gets close to it, it will hop out of the ground and try to attack Olimar. This monster is found in Wistful Wild and is underground in many locations. It doesn't always bury underground, due to the fact that it can be standing. It has a close cousin the Decorated Cannon Beetle. It is the larva of the Armored Beetle in Pikmin. It will shot boulders trying to squish Pikmin or the captains. It is a part of the Lithopod Family. It is found in a few battle areas, and in many challenge levels. This monster is found in Pikmin 2 only, due to the fact that it's "parent" is only in Pikmin. It also returns in Pikmin 3
