The Gates of Humility was an entrance in the west wall of the Knights Academy in Sanctaphrax, through which the squires first entered into the school. Its name came from the fact that the entrance was so low that the squires had to come in on their hands and knees. This act was of symbolic importance, as it was said that those who graduated from the Knights Academy never went on bended knee ever again for as long as they lived.
