The Duddeston Manor Estate was one of four that made up the Nechells Green / Duddeston complex of 27 tower blocks and part of the 67 council-owned tower blocks in Aston. Along with the Cromwell Street Estate it underwent refurbishment in the 1990s while the other 2 estates (Kellett Road Estate & Rupert Street Estate) were completely cleared to make way for new low-rise housing. The only tower block to be demolished on the Duddeston Manor Estate was Churchfield House.
