Bil Baird (August 15, 1904 - March 18, 1987) was an American puppeteer, best known for his work with wife Cora on variety shows and stage productions. Baird is a pretty famous name when it comes to puppeteers. Famous puppeteers, notably Jerry Nelson, started their puppetry careers working with Bil and Cora. The Bairds had two children, Laura and Peter.
