The lyorn is something like a golden-haired dog of medium size, but it has a horn ("Lyorn growls and lowers horn"). Lyorn skin is sometimes used to make fashionable boots, or work-gloves that protect farmers' hands from blisters. Lyorn legs are also mentioned as being served in restaurants or by street venders.
