Since Soundwave doesn't have the guts to actually overthrow Megatron, he spends most of his time being his pet. Soundwave will always listen in on what others is saying and acts as a secret police force for Megatron. He has snithced on Starscream on numerous occasions, this has triggered a drift between the two. Soundwave is one of the smartest Decepticons there is as well as one of the most cunning. Soundwave however does not have a human partner and as a result cannot access his Super Mode.
