Dodai no Oni was an oni of the Shadowlands which existed as a disembodied awareness surrounding a fist-sized piece of obsidian known as a seed-stone, in a stasis state. When the stone was buried beneath a building, the oni's essence established within the construction. It was believed Daigotsu commissioned these creatures by Omoni and Shokansuru. They had never been seen within the Shadowlands, appearing periodically in the Crab lands, with three documented cases exist. A dozen seed-stones were distributed by Daigotsu throughout Otosan Uchi during his assault.
