The Sith Empire was formed after Revan and Malak became Sith Lords following the Mandalorian Wars. For the most part, it was made up of former Republic soldiers and Jedi, who were swayed into joining by Revan. There were also troopers and Sith created by the Star Forge. The Sith Empire would eventually conquer the Galaxy, even after certain events made it seem like it was over.
