The Universe-Uniting Æthernet ("the W.Æ.," "W.E.,"We," "W.A.E.," "U.U.Æ." or "U.U.A.E." for short) often the Æthernet or Aethernet is a universe-wide system of communication facilitated by psychokinetic simulators, linking together trillions of people across quintillions of kilometers, and from thousands of different planets, and hundreds of different species. It uses the infinite spacetime of the Æther to power psymulators (short for "psychokinetic simulators"), enhancing or entirely emulating psychic powers in its users. The user interface of the Æthernet is similar to real-life VR, projecting information onto in-eye devices with simulated psychic powers. Screens can also be used to interact with the Æthernet, and are sometimes entirely simulated, up to, and including tactile information
