XDT was originally an outfit on the Werner server of Planetside 1, created by TheBackDoorBanditCrew and others on January 4th, 2004. The outfit steadily grew over the years, but was never considered large, primarily due to its strict recruitment policies. It was often thought by its members to specialize in spec-ops including generator-drops and stealth drain & hacks.
