Black Lightning was formed under the combination of Chidori and Mei Hazuna during Shogun's training with his brother Toukashi. It involves a much extended attack range and attack power. In some rare cases the lightning will extend over the user's body, and others will only have over the hand and beyond the reach of that hand. Although the look and form of this variation is shockingly similar to Flapping Chidori, it has twice the power as it's predecessor thanks to Mei Hazuna and it's parasitic capabilities. It is possible that while Shogun gave birth to Black Lightning, he thought of severing his bonds with his old mentor Tran Kirioa and others.
