Morris was a galley slave and former gladiator on an alternate Rome that never fell. He was constantly escaping and being recaptured, requiring him to be patched up with bionic parts. He helped the Fourth Doctor escape the Imperial Air Gallery, and was killed when he was shot with a bact-gun during an air battle with the robot legionnaires. (COMIC: Doctor Who and the Iron Legion)
