Sarah "Sadie" King (née Nelson; 31 January 1874 - 20 April 1984) was an American woman notable for her longevity. Sadie Nelson was born in Brenham, Texas on 31 January 1874 as the daughter of George and Mary Nelson. She married Celestus King in Harris, Texas on 19 July 1897. The couple had two children. Sadie was widowed very early and might have moved to Illinois after her husband's death. Some time after 1930 she moved to California, where she stayed for the rest of her life. Sadie King died in Los Angeles, California on 20 April 1984, aged 110 years, 80 days.
