Burdette City was the capital city of Burdette Steading, and home to Burdette House and Burdette Cathedral. Its inhabitants remained more conservative than other steaders over the course of the Mayhew Restoration, with vendors sometimes even refusing to serve female costumers. (HHA6.5: OS)
