On November 11, 2012, the micronation called the Principality of Midatlantia was formed, however it failed to meet success and its members were not actively involved in the country, leading to its defunct status. On the founding anniversary, the remaining citizens reformed the country as the Principality of Chitose. In the past year, the people of Chitose have forged a stronger national identity, and the country has become more organized. On December 14, 2013, construction began on the Firedrake Trail in the state of Renland, which connects the capital of Dunhill in the southern half of Renland to Lake Fiona.
