Born in a future that no longer exists, Seng was the heir to a supposedly "perfect" version of New York City that his father ruled with an iron grip. However, a man named Power Nelson ruined everything by fighting back against the Seng dynasty in 1982. Granted incredible powers by rebel scientists, Nelson nearly defeated Seng I, but the emperor retaliated by destroying everyone and everything Nelson cared about. Seeking revenge, Nelson used a time machine to travel back in time to the 1950s, and changed the course of history so that Seng I would never come to power. The elder Seng thus sent his son back in time to stop Nelson from changing things any further.
