The Merr-Sonn C-22 Fragmentation Grenade is a grenade which consists of a small detonite charge encased in a pre-stressed chrome shell. Upon detonation, the grenade fills an area of ten meters in diameter with fragments. Twisting the timer dial upon the top of the grenade sets a time delay for up to two minutes, while pressing the activation panel on the rim of the grenade primes the detonite charge and starts the timer. Holding this panel down stops the timer, and an access code deactivates the primer.
