Wind Lane is the oldest son of the Lane family, an older brother to Trent, Jane, and Penny. Wind is emotionally damaged from his multiple failed marriges, and has difficulty relating to anyone. He oftens starts crying at the slightest provocation. He was married to a woman named Claudia, but when that marriage broke off, he married Katie. He and Katie live on houseboat, though it appears that this marriage is also breaking down (but they were still married, and fighting, as of Art Burn). He doesn't seem very close to his family, having once mistaken Daria for his sister Penny.
