Invictas Group is a successor to the failed Wordsworth Holdings Group and consists of several of the former subsidiaries of Wordsworth Holdings. The Group was founded in March 2010 and is based on the same site in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The companies logo is based on the former Aveling-Barford 'Invicta' prancing horse symbol that goes back to the predecessor Aveling & Porter companies roots in Kent.
