Alexander XIII, (946 – 16 August 1007), was a Diadochian emperor from 1001 to 1007. He succeeded his grand nephew Basil II in 1001 at the age of fifty-five. His brilliant military exploits contributed to the resurgence of the Diadochian Empire during the 11th century.
