Sean Flanagan was an actor who played three minor roles on Coronation Street: * School pupil Rodney Smith in April 1972 * Charlie, also a school pupil, in May 1973 * Bernie Marsh in September and October 1975. He also appeared as a child actor in The Liver Birds and Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?, graduating into youth roles in series such as The Nearly Man, Play for Today, Granada's 1977 adaptation of Hard Times, Z Cars and Fallen Hero before dying at a young age on 27th June 1981.
