Yoritomo Toritsuko was an artisan of the Mantis Clan, a student of the Yoyonagi method who lived in Toshi Ranbo. She began a love affair with a Crane men, promised to the Otomo family. In 1198 the Amethyst Champion Asako Izuna, who saw herself as the represent of the interest of the Imperial families in those courts where the Imperial families cannot be present, went to the Broken Wave City and suggested to the magistrate Yoritomo Hama that Toritsuko was responsible for leaking information to pirates, in order for the Mantis to take care of the situation. It would result in her execution for treason.
