The PGM3 is the second affordable PGM model after the PGM30 and is based on the PGM100 and PGM300. Unlike the PGM30 and other PGMs, the PGM3 is manufactured in Korea and later Indonesia rather than Japan. It feature an HSH pickup configuration, a reversed headstock, a double locking tremolo and Paul Gilbert's signature painted F holes.
