Samuli Jalkanen (b. August 29th 1978 in Vantaa, Finland) is a retired professional defenceman. Jalkanen played for the Finnish National Team at the 1996 European Junior Championship. From 1999 to 2002, he played in the NCAA for University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He retired in 2008.
