Potion and Plant Poisoning has been one of the most sought after wards in recent times due to the increase in demand for potions and the recognisable symptoms now making into common knowledge. The ward specialises in all things related to poisoning from either a plant or a potion and keeps a wide supply of antidotes on hand. For those they are unable to have immediate antidotes for, all healers are trained in how to brew an anti-dote and with immediate measures to be undertaken in the event of a poisoning. Working closely with the MLE in some cases, they hold the largest record of poisons in the United Kingdom and are required by mandated Wizengamot ruling to report all suspicious poisonings to the Ministry of Magic.
