Cow racing is the main betting attraction of the continent, where gil can be won or lost due to the outcome of the races. The Fields are patrolled by volunteers from Alfitaria to protect against some of the monsters that live on the Plains of Fum. Incidentally, food thefts go up during the patrols of some Lilties.
